About the author

The author of the marionettes, Lenka Pavlíčková, graduated at the Art Schol in Prague in 1992, where she studied propagation graphic art. She found larger space in her art activity in creating marionettes, in which she shapes characters of legends and fairy-tales. Costume design and searching for interesting materials brought her to painting on silk. There she found father possibilities for developing the fantasy of shapes and colours. The combination of beatiful materials - linden wood, leather and natural silk brought her again to marionettes.
